Remember Breaking Bad? The show has been off the air for two years, but one big part of it remains. The Pinkman residence is up for sale – with a hefty price tag. If you’re in the market for a new home, you can have a custom home builder design one inspired by this residence. Here’s a glimpse into what the house looks like.
You guessed it – the Breaking Bad home is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the home of the hit show. This 2-story, 3,500 square foot, Spanish Colonial abode features* the following:
- Four bedrooms;
- Three bathrooms;
- Two porches;
- Breakfast nook.
All for $1.6 million, a far cry from the $400,000 offer Pinkman paid in season 3.
It’s been renovated
If you were a huge fan of the show, you’ll probably remember the basement was transformed into a temporary jail cell and a meth lab. Not to mention the part when the ceiling caved in after Pinkman tried to erase evidence of a dead body, according to Digital Trends.
As it turns out, the house did undergo a lot of renovations and is in proper selling order, according to Susan Feil of Coldwell Banker Legacy, who spoke to CNN Money about the property listing.
The listing says the neighbourhood is known for its “wide boulevards, tree-lined streets and beautifully authentic architecture.” Far cry from what we say on the show, right?
