We have had nothing but rain, rain and more rain for the last couple of weeks here in the Greater Toronto Area, and it has prevented JD of Dreamscape Design from working on Joanne’s backyard.
However, this week we had slightly less rain and JD was able to put in the black lining for the bottom pond of Joanne’s two tiered pond and waterfall installation. This might seem a little bit reverse engineered, but the lining that Joanne bought was much larger than what was needed for the top pond, so JD used it in the lower one. As you can see, shortly after it was installed it rained again, causing the pond to fill up to the brim.
They had to wait for a break in the rain before stacking the slate stones for the waterfall. The more layers of stone the water has to rush over, the more noise the waterfall will create.
Here is the other corner of the bottom pond- wait, what is that…?
JD also managed to put in the lining for the top pond and after he finished it, it rained. It rained so much that once again a pond filled up without any help from Joanne. Joanne sure is saving money on her water bill this month.
What do you think of the progress so far? Do you have any suggestions for Joanne?
