Joanne’s backyard patio is back! This week we get the privilege of watching as the raised patio is constructed out of the stones we saw last week.
In this shot the landscaper has laid out the circle for the stone bench, which surrounds the fire pit. Yes, I said fire pit, I’ll be sure to weasel an invite for a marshmallow and s’more roast.
Check out this picture of the outer and inner rings of the bench being built. The outer ring will enclose a flower garden that will be planted behind the raised back rests of the bench.
The stone laid in the image below shows where the pond and waterfall will be placed. I wonder if she’ll put fish in it…
Oh, and this is the construction zone… it looks a little messy doesn’t it? I sure hope those track marks get filled in, or maybe she’ll make a little stream for the fishes to swim in out of it.
The first floor of the patio is almost finished. I wonder how many stone bricks have been used so far?
Here are some more construction zone shots of the patio. If anything it looks even messier. Remember those big rocks from the first post? Yup, they’ve moved them and they will be used in the waterfall along with the slate stones seen in the images below.
To close we have this artistic photo of the landscaper’s level. What a dynamic shot!
Next week we’ll get to see the completed raised patio!
