How it works
EnerView Neat® glass by Cardinal, a residential glass manufacturing company, has a coating applied to the glass during the production process that reduces the need for frequent exterior window cleaning. The coating, a titanium dioxide layer, reacts chemically with the sun’s UV rays, which causes organic materials that are on the glass to decompose. Thus, when it rains, the decomposed dirt washes away, as it no longer clings to the glass.
EnerView Neat® glass is also very smooth. “It has a thin layer of silicon dioxide, allowing water to disperse evenly or sheet off and evaporate quickly,” explains Gus. Not only will your windows be cleaner, they will be nearly spotless.
Not only does the EnerView Neat® Glass practically clean itself but because it is fabricated with Cardinal’s low-emissivity (LoĒ) coatings, it keeps your home warm in the winters and cool during the summer.
