Have a Reno-Inspired Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is this weekend, which means restaurants are going to be booked and the good chocolates are already flying off store shelves. Rather than shower your significant other with lavish gifts, why not enjoy a fun-filled outing together?

Visit this year’s GTA Home & Reno show, open this Friday, February 13 to Monday, February 16 at the International Centre in Mississauga, will bring together some of the top home improvement and renovation experts in the city, including landscape designer Carson Arthur. Remember, it’s never too early to start planning spring renovations!

If you’re putting off a home improvement project because you’re stumped for ideas, then you’re in luck this Valentine’s weekend. Experts will be on hand to flush out your design ideas at the “What’s Your Design Dilemma?” booth.learnhowto

What about that romantic Valentine’s Day dinner? The GTA Home & Reno show has you covered there too! Take a break from the show and visit the winter market for some food and shopping. There will also be cooking how-to’s featuring Ontario’s food and culinary products.

On Saturday, don’t miss an exclusive appearance by Drew and Jonathan Scott, hosts of the Property Brothers television show. Lucky attendees will get a lesson on industry tricks and how to transform a house into your dream home. Plus, they’ll tell you how to stay on budget. They take the stage on Saturday at 1 p.m.

A home renovation doesn’t necessarily mean taking a sledgehammer to every wall in your home to make big structural changes. Maybe you’re looking for new appliances or a piece of artwork to hang in your foyer. You’ll be able to find that and more at the show this weekend.

If you need some convincing, check out this video from last year’s show:
