About the Royal Home Improvements Team:
Our success can be summarized in two words – longevity and dedication. Royal Home Improvements (RHI) is a family run business launched over 40 years ago. Our length of service in the industry provides security and comfort to our customers because they know that we’re here for the long term, and that our track record’s been firmly established.
We specialize in a multitude of work, such as Interior and Exterior renovations, remodelling and new additions. We also specialize in kitchens and bathrooms, basements and landscaping. Regardless of your home’s style, we cater to growing families, two-family homes, empty nesters, seniors and condominium owners in the Greater Toronto Area and Muskoka Regions.
Project Management is why we’ve earned the trust of thousands of homeowners. With single-source responsibility and clear communication, our Project Managers take a hands-on approach to ensuring success from concept to completion. We make the process as satisfying as the finished product, with strict adherence to budgets and timelines.
Owner, Paul Napolitano, joined the family business thirty years ago. He started out as a part-time laborer and slowly worked his way up to the trades. With experience, Paul’s skill set gradually evolved into project management. Having done every type of work imaginable, Paul made certain to impart the value of customer service to his team as he grew within the company. He’s attended many seminars and trade shows, and currently co-hosts Sunday Showcase with Murray Segal on AM 740.
Paul’s work has also been featured in several trade magazines. He loves bringing the home in harmony so that it’s tailored to the customer’s needs. His passion is communicating and articulating the customer’s goals, and helping them to visualize the design of their renovation. Paul has a knack for making an existing space more functional and helping customers renew their homes.
John Napolitano, Paul’s son, entered the business after studying Real Estate and Project Management at the University of Guelph. A big believer in environmental sustainability, John has acquired the skill set of today’s technologies. He’s up to date on the latest building products and has a passion for kitchen and bathroom design.
A carpenter by trade, General Manager Kenzie Campbell obtained a BA from the University of Toronto. He entered the business world as a Consultant for an American ‘dot-com’ firm, and in 2000, joined RHI to standardize procedures and sales. An active member of the Renovators Council since 2009, Kenzie’s the Chair of the Council and serves on the BILD Board of Directors.
We love helping homeowners achieve their goals and making older homes more livable. Our passion is renewing older homes and making existing spaces more functional. On every project, we’re interested in helping homeowners design a space they will utilize and enjoy.
Planning ahead is crucial and by preparing beforehand, you can determine your renovation needs. Whether you’re planning exterior work like a stone walkway or remodeling your kitchen or bathroom, this will ensure a successful renovation from beginning to end. It’s also important to consider your family’s needs, lifestyle and the placement of current and future furniture.
Showcase: The Adams Project
The Adams bought their home from a builder/developer and did little to no renovating for the longest while. For years, they wanted to update, but realized it was more prudent to wait until their children were away at University. In their planning, they put money aside for when it would become time to finally renovate.
They called RHI initially to do some minor work and, ever since, it’s flourished into a strong relationship. This year we completely redesigned and remodeled their kitchen, which featured solid surface quartz countertops by Zodiac. Zodiac products are made in Canada, and are among the greenest building materials available.
