Many people have a hard time determining which home automation system is the best fit for their home. Therefore, the best way for a person to determine which home automation system  will be the best for their needs is to research the best systems on the market.

• Compatibility: The HomeSeer automation system is compatible with a variety of products.
• Ease of Use: The system is very easy to use, and HomeSeer provides a user manual to help with any problems the owner may experience.
• Help and support: The user will have tutorials to help them and telephone support. However, an online live chat option is not available.

4. PowerHome

• Compatibility: The PowerHome is not as compatible with technology as other home automation systems. The user will not be able to control HVAC systems or their thermostat; however, media devices can be controlled.
• Ease of Use: Many users may consider the PowerHome to be a little difficult to use because the user interface appears to be cluttered.
• Help and Support: The PowerHome has great customer service for help and support. The users have the option of chatting live with customer service representatives.

5. Control4

• Compatibility: This particular device is not very compatible with other products. For example, the user cannot customize the features to fit his or her particular needs because it requires professional installation.
• Ease of Use:The Control4 is probably the easiest home automation system to use.
• Help and Support: The customer service is handled by vendors, this means that the user lacks the ability to be able to speak directly with representatives from Control4.
