In 2005 Granger Community Church approached a member who owned a custom cabinet shop about designing and building mobile kiosks for use with their computer check in system. After several months 10 mobile kiosks were delivered to the church. Pictures of the kiosks were placed on a blog under the heading “Kick Butt Kiosks." Interest in the kiosks was phenomenal but the custom cabinet shop had more than a six-month backlog and limited production capacity. In a conversation on a mission trip to Mexico, another Granger Community Church member mentioned that she and her husband owned a production woodworking company that had been in business since 1979. An agreement was made to begin marketing and building custom kiosks as CORNERSTONE CABINETRY LLC.
