-Duo Temp storm doors and windows are made of strong extruded aluminum. -The baked acrylic enamel finish resists blistering and peeling virtually eliminating the need for repainting. -All inserts are removable from inside for easy cleaning. -Maintenance is greatly reduced... and so are maintenance costs! -Founded in 1946 by J. Budney who left Hayes Dana to found a local home improvement company. -Located for 11 years at 16 Ormond street in Thorold, Ontario. -Manufactured and distributed storm windows and doors, siding, aluminum awnings, enclosures and other home renovation products. -In 1960 moved to their present location at 105 Merritt Street, St. Catharines. -In 1973 they began the assembly of thermopane windows. -In 1976 they expanded operations and added a new warehouse addition. -In 1977 they began the manufacture of 1 1/4" and 2" aluminum storm doors. -The company employs approximately 30 people in office, sales, assembly and installation functions. -Still owned today by original family members.
