The stones are gathered from various Indonesian Islands, each colour being specific to a particular region. They are sorted by size and shape and are carefully laid out on a mesh backing and glued down by hand. The result is a truly innovative product! Ocean Stones™ mosaic tiles may be grouted like regular tiles and sealed with stone sealer, which brings out the natural, rich tones that Mother Nature intended. The stones can be easily removed from their mesh backing to fit around awkward fixtures and hard to get places eliminating the need for special cutting tools.
