Bryan Reid Sr. established Pioneer Log Homes of British Columbia in Williams Lake, British Columbia in 1973. He chose this location (approximately 500Km North of Vancouver, BRITISH COLUMBIA ) because of its access to the world's finest stands of Spruce, Fir and Western Red Cedar. As the business grew, so did the family support. Several members joined Pioneer Log Homes of British Columbia, including brother and Master Craftsman André Chevigny as well as David Chevigny, a founder of Pioneer Logging. Son Bryan Reid Jr. trained under both André and Bryan Sr. to become a Master Craftsman and now oversees operations at the Pioneer 153 Mile site.
